How to prevent cold sores with diet? Ignore fat doctors…

So, you wanna stop getting cold sores left and right?

Want to learn how to prevent them from ruining your life?

From turning you into a walking freak show?

Good.

Because preventing cold sores through diet is very simple, in theory.

You just have to tweak your eating habits in a way that will enhance your immune system.

How do you do that you ask?

It’s a simple two step process.

  1. You take out the bad foods.
  2. You replace them with good foods.

And believe you me, this works like gangbusters.

Because the effects are two-fold.

First, taking out bad foods reduces the workload your immune system has to deal with, which frees it up to fight off the herpes virus more effectively.

Secondly, when you replace bad foods with healthy options, you give your immune system all the ammunition it needs to go full Rambo on cold sores.

Sounds simple right?

And in theory, it is.

But common sense once again comes in and screws it all up.

Here’s what I mean.

The other day I caught my local version of The Doctors on TV.

You know the show where a bunch of doctors sit around and dole out health advice?

Anyway the topic was healthy eating habits and weight loss specifically.

But the funny part was that an obese doctor was giving out advice about how to lose weight.

Really?

A fat doctor, telling you how to stop being fat…

Ooookkk buddy.

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather take advice from someone who’s actually lost weight and (more importantly) kept it off for good than some fat dude with a fancy diploma.

But that’s not all.

There was also this nutritionist going on about what the healthiest cooking oils are.

And her advice was to avoid coconut oil because it’s a saturated fat, when in fact science has demonstrated over and over again that coconut oil is far and away one of the healthiest oils you can eat.

In fact, here’s a free tip: coconut oil contains a potent antiviral called monolaurin that’s been shown to kill the herpes virus. And that’s not to mention all of it’s other health benefits…

Use it. Eat it.

Now look.

I’m not saying these doctors and nutritionists are deliberately telling lies.

Heck, their heart might be in the right place.

But that doesn’t cut it.

Because to prevent cold sores forrealzies, you gotta cut through the lies put forth by fat doctors.

And that ain’t happening if you follow common “healthy eating” advice that’s spewed on TV.

Or eat any of the foods labelled as “healthy” at the grocery store.

Food companies are a greedy bunch…

They don’t care that what they sell you is crap, so long as they turn a profit.

So it’s easy to see how people have a hard time implementing healthy eating habits when almost everything labelled as healthy on TV and at the grocery store is downright toxic.

But fear ye not.
